Pat Tillman, a former Arizona Cardinal player died today fighting for his country in the War Against the Taliban. Tillman joined the Rangers division of the US Army for an 18,000 dollars a year job when he could have been making millions in the NFL playing Safety.

Barry Bonds is the MAN

Should anyone pitch to him? I do not think so. He is hitting a HR every 6.8 swings. YES EVERY 6.8 SWINGS. He has swung and missed 7 times but he has 9 HR. Those are some crazy numbers. Barry is definately not the most likable guy, but we all have to appreciate the on-field greatness he is providing us with.

This 5/8 rule matters to UNH Basketball because the Coachign Staff at UNH has run out 6 players with 3 graduating from last years team, one for academic reasons, and 2 others because the coachign staff told them they would not get any playing time next season and the kids were seniors. Also, the graduation rate is horrible at UNH with the link that is posting on the Sportsfrog.

So I'm hoping this rescinding of the 5/8 rule with college basketball goes through. Mostly because my beloved Kentucky Wildcats havee signed something like, 319 players for next year, and we were slightly over the limit. It helped that Adam Williams, the Jerry West wannabe from WV who signed as a sophomore is going to prep school. THe thought here is that he never dons the Blue and White. That won't be so bad. Here's hoping that Randolph Morris takes the recruitmentfrom Rajon Rondo at the McD's All star game to heart and chooses UK!
